"GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines, monitoring and coordinating clinical trials in practice." ©
The study programme includes practical training in:
- Clinical trial organization from the sponsor, CRO and site side,
- Workshop of the job of a clinical trial coordinator at the sponsor company, CRO and clinical trial site,
- Specifics of the monitor's work during simulated site visits and activities performed at the sponsor company, CRO or remotely,
- Participate in project and risk management in clinical trials,
- Preparing the sponsor company, CRO and site for an audit and participating in a sham audit,
- Specifics of non-commercial clinical trials,
- Principles and differences between medical device and drug product clinical trials,
- Practical English used in clinical trials, e.g. videoconferencing with the trial team,
- Good Clinical Practice, receiving a GCP certificate valid for 3 years.
Graduates will acquire a range of practical skills related to the conduct of clinical trials, collection, completion and verification of trial documentation in accordance with current legal standards, as well as efficient communication with the trial team.
Schedule
The course consists of 10 didactic sessions and 1 credit session. A total of 180 teaching hours.

Study Description:
The first postgraduate programme in clinical research based on the participant gaining practical skills in coordinating and monitoring a clinical trial in accordance with current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles.
The study is based on the use of modern and practical exercise methods allowing to apply the acquired knowledge in real life situations. Participants will take part, among others, in workshops with survey documentation, simulations of a monitor's visit to a facility, videoconferences in English, exercises on coordinating a survey or a simulated audit and preparation for it.

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 1 September 2011 on professional titles conferred on graduates of studies, the conditions for awarding and the necessary components of diplomas of study completion and certificates of completion of postgraduate studies and the specimen of a supplement to the diploma (Journal of Laws No. 196, item 1167), graduates receive a Certificate of Completion of the Postgraduate Studies in Herbal Therapy.
