• The Academy of Medical Sciences in Bialystok was established by the decision of the Minister of National Education and Sport on 16 April 2003 and entered into the Register of Non-State Higher Education Institutions.

The Academy is constantly expanding and adapting both the faculties and the study programmes to the needs of the labour market not only in Poland but also in Europe.

At the moment it offers:

Academy of Medical Sciences in Bialystok graduates who choose to study II degree are exempt from the enrolment and recruitment fee.

Bachelor studies:

• Cosmetology
• Nursing
• Bridge nursing (2 sem. or 3 sem.)

AB Level - Graduates of 5-year medical lyceums - 2 semesters
Level C - Graduates of 2-years vocational medical schools- 3 semesters
Level D - Graduates of 2.5-year medical vocational schools - 2 semesters

Step by step electronic recruitment

Candidates entering the academic recruitment process take the following steps in sequence:

1. Completing a questionnaire in the IRK system
   
   Fill in the online questionnaire at www.wsmed.pl tab Recruitment - Internet Recruitment of Candidates - IRK (application form).
2. Entering data necessary for the recruitment procedure
   
   Candidate fills in the questionnaire in the IRK account with personal data and information about education possesses.
3. Registration for chosen studies
   
   In order to register electronically for a course of study, the candidate selects the course of study of interest to an applicant from the catalogue of courses currently available for recruitment.
   Confirmation of registration
   
   Confirmation of registration involves the payment of an enrolment fee (for all degree programmes except the postgraduate studies) and delivery to the Academy a completed questionnaire and required documents.
4. Acceptance for enrolment
   
   Candidate qualified for acceptance is required to provide a medical reference and confirmation of payment of registration fee within the prescribed time limit.

Recruitment at the Academy of Medical Sciences in Bialystok for the academic year 2021/2022 takes place on:

01.04.2021 r. - 31.08.2021 r. - basic recruitment

01.09.2021 r. - 30.09.2021 verification and supplementary recruitment

Admission is determined by the order of applications.

The number of vacancies is limited.

The condition for acceptance into the first year of studies is on-line registration and submission of the following documents:

• on-line registration and registration on www.wsmed.pl, tab Recruitment, the completed application should be printed,
• original high school diploma (or a copy of the diploma issued by the school or for the time of the examinations a notarized copy). In the case of notarized copies, the original must be provided within 7 days of the announcement of the acceptance list,
• medical opinion - from a doctor of occupational medicine (upon candidate's request a referral will be issued),
• one signed photograph with dimensions of 37x52 mm

A recruitment fee must be paid when submitting the documents.

Studying at the Academy of Medical Sciences in Bialystok is against payment.

Candidates!
From 1 April 2021, recruitment at the Academy of Medical Sciences in Bialystok starts for the following courses:

Physiotherapy - uniform 5-year graduate studies (10 semesters)
Cosmetology – bachelor’s degree 3-year studies (6 semesters)
Cosmetology - master's degree 2-year studies (4 semesters)
Nursing – bachelor’s degree full-time studies, full-time 3-year studies (6 semesters)
Nursing - bachelor's degree part-time studies, 3.5-year studies (7 semesters)
Nursing - bridge studies (2 or 3 semesters)
Nursing - master's degree 2-year studies (4 semesters)
Emergency Medicine – bachelor’s degree 3-year studies (6 semesters)

ATTENTION !!!

The Academy charges:

• recruitment fee (500 PLN - paid after accepting the candidate for studies)
  
• enrolment fee (85 PLN)

Students can apply for a scholarship.

Its amount does not depend on the mode of study.

Academy of Medical Sciences in Bialystok graduates who decide to take up master studies
are exempt from the recruitment and enrolment fee.

Rules for payment of tuition fees (APPLICABLE ONLY TO FIRST YEAR STUDENTS)

Tuition fee payment can be made by a student at one time or in 2 instalments per semester:

Deadlines for payment of instalments:

1 instalment: by 14/10/2021 - 5% discount for a single annual payment

2 instalments: 14/10/2021, 28/02/2022 - 3% discount for semester payment

Persons making payments during the recruitment process (recruitment fee) for studies, are requested to make payments to the bank account number:

If you are already a student, please make payments to an individual account, which is assigned to you in the virtual dean's office. In the title of the transfer, please give the index number, course, first and last name of the student.

Rules for payment of tuition fees (applies to all courses):

• 5% discount in case of payment of the tuition fee for the whole year in advance (one-off payment) by 05.09.2021

• 3% discount in case of paying the tuition fee for the whole semester in advance (1st installment payable by 05.09.2021, 2nd installment payable by 28.02.2022)

Postgraduate Studies

GCP Guidelines - Clinical Trials Monitoring and Coordination in Practice

Candidates will be required to pay for their studies to the dedicated account of the Academy of Medical Sciences in Bialystok, by the established deadline. The amount due for postgraduate studies can be paid in 1 or 2 tranches, as described. Tuition installments: PLN 6900 - one installment PLN 7400 (2 installments x PLN 3700) Graduates of the Medical University and Soft Communication training courses are entitled to a 5% discount.
