E-learning
E-Learning Centre of Academy of Medical Sciences in Bialystok invites all students to get familiar with the possibilities of supporting the traditional education process with modern methods. The Moodle platform is made available to you - a service that enables effective use of the Internet in teaching. The platform's task is, among others, to facilitate students' work through access to e-learning courses prepared by the lecturers.
In order to sign in to the Moodle platform, you need to have an individual account. Each student of our Academy has an account in the service.

Academic Senate
The Senate is the highest collegiate body of the Academy. It members of the Senate are: Rector, Vice Rectors, Chancellor, Heads of Departments, representatives of academic teachers, administrative staff and students.
The competences of the Senate include:
- adopting the Rules and Regulations for Studies,
- determining the main directions of the Academy's development and activities,
- determining the rules of the Academy's operation and guidelines for basic organizational units in the scope of performing basic teaching tasks of the Academy,
- adopting resolutions on the establishment of a branch campus, a basic organisational unit in a location or a teaching centre in a location, and on the establishment and liquidation of a course of study
- Granting consent to the Rector concluding a cooperation agreement with a foreign entity,
- passing resolutions on matters defined in the regulations on health care institutions,
- giving an opinion on the academic community of the Academy and expressing an opinion on the matters submitted by the Rector or five members of the Senate,
- giving an opinion on the Academy's organisational regulations,
- periodically evaluating the implementation of the teaching process and scientific and research activities in organisational units,
- giving an opinion on survey questions according to which students periodically evaluate academic teachers,
- appointing and dismissing disciplinary committees and, if necessary, other committees provided for by the regulations, and establishing the regulations for such committees,
- establishing study plans and teaching programme for individual fields of study and specializations.
